Succumbed to the pressures of donor agencies to demonstrate tangible results, NGOs and departments of Govt are preoccupied with copying unsystematically some systems from the corporates. In the process they also become supply driven. Over time, infrastructure and systems management become the focus in organizations. Life giving aspects like growth nurturing goal and vision for individuals in the organization either do not form a part of the organization's philosophy, or if they, they are largely ignored. Organizations become lifeless robotic entities rather than living, vibrant organism.

Recent introduction of the concepts on organisation learning and knowledge Management provide inputs regarding intentional use of collective and individual learning processes to continuously transform organizational behaviour in a direction that is increasingly satisfying to its stakeholders; and the systematic processes by which the knowledge required by an organization is acquired, distilled, shared, stored and retrieved and used.

This five day experiential training will provide atmosphere for the participants to explore these new concepts and approaches and enable the participants to proceed from talking about Knowledge Management and Organisation learning to practicing Knowledge management and becoming learning Organisation.
