Global Neighbour Network - Eco Tribal Tourism
One of the primary reasons for establishing ecotourism is to build and facilitate sustainable linkages between the various indigenous groups through their associated Samajs with pro development tourists and other target groups.
With the vision of making sustainable development of the marginalized tribal communities a transnational endeavour, the effort here is to explore ways to forge a global neighbourhood network whereby the rich and generously endowed, proactively contribute to the progress and development of their not so fortunate hosts. This ensures a sharing of resources and help the tourists imbibe a sense of belonging and participation in the life processes of the ethnic host groups.
The preferential client groups are the upper middle class and middle class income groups of Northern countries as well as domestic tourists. Student groups from western and domestic universities are encouraged to undertake various ethnocentric studies and research projects while simultaneously networking amongst their local community groups to raise resources for the ethnic hosts on a sustainable basis, towards this end.
